Hotels – Next on your itinerary is to find a place to stay. When it comes to staying in the Grand Canyon you can spend your nights in the Canyon or in a more modern hotel within a few miles. It is very important that you book your stay well in advance. The most popular locations to stay include Tusayan, Williams and Flagstaff.

  • Tusayan – One of the most popular places to stay for tourist is the town of Tusayan. The Town of Tusayan is the nearest vibrant town to the Grand Canyon. Being located just a few miles from the Grand Canyon translates into a three minute drive from the edge of town. The advantage of Tusayan is the ability to be so close to the Canyons, yet still enjoy some of the modern luxuries you have come to expect.   • Williams – Located just 60 miles away from the Canyon (an hour drive).Williams, Arizona, offer a beautiful mountainside scenery and the historic Route 66. Some of the adventures available include taking the railway to the Canyon, an outdoor drive-thru wildlife park, as well as a real looking western setting.   • Flagstaff – At an elevation of nearly 7,000 feet and just 80 miles away from the Grand Canyon (about a 90 minute drive) makes this another popular place to stay. Although further away then Tusayan it will be generally a bit cheaper and has a number of other fun activities to offer such as hiking, mountain biking, boating, disk golf, camping and rock climbing. Trailer Village
Site are available for camping overnight in a trailer as well. Sites can accommodate rigs as large as 50 feet in length and come with a picnic table, BBQ grill and sewage hook-ups. Electrical hook-ups, cable TV and water are also available. Laundry and coin operated showers are also available.

North Rim
