Grand Canyon Hotels

When it comes to staying in one of the Grand Canyon hotels you can spend your nights in the Canyon or in a more modern hotel in Tusayan, which is just a few minutes away. It is very important that you book your stay well in advance, generally six months before your planned visit, as the rooms get booked up really fast. We have broken down the hotel reviews based on  the most popular locations to stay. The most popular locations to stay include Tusayan, Williams and Flagstaff.

  • Tusayan – One of the most popular places to stay for tourist is the town of Tusayan. The Town of Tusayan is the nearest vibrant town to the Grand Canyon. Being located just a few miles from the Grand Canyon, it translates into a 3 minute drive from the edge of town. The advantage of Tusayan is the ability to be so close to the Canyons, yet still enjoy some of the modern luxuries you have come to expect. Here, you will enjoy the atmosphere of small town filled with restaurants, hotels and even an IMAX theater. To check for lodging availability click on the following link: Tusayan Lodging Options.
  • Williams – Located just 60 miles away from the Canyon (an hour drive). Williams, Arizona, offer a beautiful Mountainside scenery, and the historic Route 66. Some of the adventures available include taking the railway to the Canyon, an outdoor drive-thru wildlife park, as well as a real looking western setting. (You will see cowboys walking through this town.) To check for lodging availability click on the following link: Williams Lodging Options.
  • Flagstaff – At an elevation of nearly 7,000 feet and just 80 miles away from the Grand Canyon (about a 90-minute drive) makes this another popular place to stay. Although further away then Tusayan it will be generally a bit cheaper and has a number of other fun activities to offer such as hiking, mountain biking, boating, disk golf, camping and rock climbing. The colder winter months will provide great places to ski and snowboarding. To check for lodging availability click on the following link: Flagstaff Lodging Options.
